Notes on Mounting a Pastel Painting using T-hinges and matboard spacers
I used Lineco Self Adhesive Archival Linen Hinging tape. Since I usually have a white edge from taping my pastels to a board and cover the edges with a matt, I just did reinforced T-hinges on the front.
Then I cut 1" spacers from matboard per p. 128 of Logan's book and attached them to the backing board with double sided tape.
Linen tape was used along the edge to attach mat window to backing board.
