Mukwonago River, Oil Pastel
A beautiful sunny day. I really like painting the outdoors. I like being outdoors. A lot of times when I first start, I have a hard time getting started. So then I give myself permission to make a very bad, the absolute worse painting because everything I do is just practice. I am where I am. And then I think, it's not so bad.
Today I was using mostly Sennelier's iridescent oil pastels. They're very soft & somewhat sticky so you need leave the paper on. My other oil pastels are mostly different grades of cray pas which are more waxy & hard. You can use the cray pas to scratch into the senneliers.
