In process Pastel Butterfly on mustard yellow sanded substrate

styrofoam works well as a blender

However I think I should have used a darker substrate. I cannot get the darkness/ intensity of color I want. So I washed off the pastel and going to redo this on a darker background or maybe in acrylic.
