Waterford Town Square 4x6 pen sketches 7/26/19

Didn't know if anyone was going. Wasn't going to go, then decided to go and take pictures. Then Terry was thinking of going. So I decided to go. Put my paints in the car but just felt like sketching. Surprise! Nancy showed up too. Had a good time.

I think that I am the only one that enjoys this event. It's pretty unorganized.  No directions. Just an address where you are supposed to go. No help for the artists, but then the focus is the gardens, not the artist. I guess that why regular artists don't care to return. My focus is just to paint and have fun. If I didn't like where I was, after an hour or two, I would just leave or move. Maybe wander around and see what other people are doing. I wandered up and down the block the first time I went many years ago. This is the first year I was able to return.

 I wrote the wrong year in my sketchbook pages. These were just done last month.

Imaginary Field. Acrylic on Styrofoam, About 22x33, 7/14/19

My sister asked me to paint something on this piece of pink styrofoam that she puts in her window to block the noise from the neighbors. She grabbed it before I finished it. I did not measure it. I asked her to measure it and she told me it measured 33x33. This is a rectangle, so if one edge is 33" the other edge is probably 22".
