Picture taken outside in shade on blacktop in the afternoon. Turned out really blue so desaturated it.

I am still measuring. However to improve the portrait I should line up the inner corner of the eyes.

6b pencil makes textured hair. Really messy and smears easily.

Regular #2 BIC 0.9mm pencil makes smooth hair

I managed to get even lighting without reflections. Only a little yellow. In winter the light will turn blue.

Lisa ran some tests on various whites to use with watercolor. The best one she found is Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay White India Ink. It's available at Michaels.
