Great day. Sunny, warm with a breeze and even though we were sitting in the tall grass at the edge of the field we didn't get bit by insects or ticks.

I like the colors, distant trees, and rocks in this painting. I believe I started with orange and red under-painting. The dandelions were really blooming.

This year we did a lot of indoor scenes. Quite a challenge. Switched to pencil, pen, and markers in my 9x12 sketchbook because they're less messy to work with.
