Sherrod Milewski

I was at the Wauwatosa library on 76th st & North Avenue last week & saw Sherrod Milewski's exhibit there. Quite interesting. She works in a variety of media. She framed some of her water colors by punching small holes along the edges then lacing them to a frame of branches. Her artwork is on display there from July 12 - August 31. Rainy Day View at Retzer Nature Center 5x7 acrylic on canvas

Overcast day. Started misting not quite drizzling so I tilted my canvas forward so the drops wouldn't hit it. Quite humid. Paint took a long time to dry. Mosquitoes quite ferocious but bearable with 100% DEET, hat, pants & long sleeve shirt. Comfortable temperature, probably between 70-80F, overcast.

Back Bay Park Home, 8x8" acrylic on canvas

Started out Villa Clement (it was closed) on Milwaukee's east side and ended up in Back Bay Park just south of the villa. Pleasant day. Nice breeze.
