Whitnal Park, 5x7, acrylics

We went to Whitnal Park's Mallard Lake to paint the Lake & waterfalls but the mozzies were too furious. So we painted the view from the top of the hill instead where the breeze kept them off. Must still be humid today. My golden open acrylics were very slow to dry so I did 2 paintings and kept switching between them. I introduced my niece to the joy of painting outside and she painted some flowers in oil pastels. I love getting away outside to paint.
